Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Salary: $52,000 - $54,000 annually

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys within a busy litigation practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and administrative responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have prior legal administrative experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional support while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
  • Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, appointments, and scheduling activities
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, depositions, and other legal proceedings
  • Prepare, proofread, and process legal correspondence and documents
  • Open new client files and maintain accurate case records
  • Perform conflict checks and assist with client intake procedures
  • File and organize electronic and paper documents
  • E-file documents with courts as needed
  • Coordinate with court personnel, court reporters, and other legal professionals
  • Process billing information, attorney time entries, and administrative forms
  • Prepare certified mail and other outgoing legal communications
  • Maintain confidential client and firm information
  • Provide backup administrative support to other team members as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative, legal administrative, or related experience
  • Previous law firm experience preferred
  • Experience supporting litigation attorneys highly desirable
  • Familiarity with court filing procedures preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
